Blown Glass

I have been working on a new series of blown and sculpted objects for the last two years.  I am creating 2-3cm thick vessels that serve as tools for me to manipulate color and light.  I use applications of 2 or 3 transparent colors to create pleasing combinations. . .

With the cast crystal series, I use optically pure glass to create a theater within the glass for light to play.  As a viewer moves around the piece reflections appear and disappear, bringing elements of the organic texture directly into the facets, but only temporarily. . .

Installations

My Installation work is a running document of a regular moments in my life.  I am recording an instant or a day for viewers 1000 miles from here or 1000 years from now. . .
